Cawdor Forestry has linked digital mapping, database and 3D
visualisation software to provide one of the most effective management
tools available. Using the latest technology to gather and store complex
forest information allows data to be accessed and updated easily and
presented in many different formats.
FOREST DESIGN
Working with specialised forest landscape architects Cawdor Forestry
can produce designs for planting, regeneration and long term felling
plans for the most sensitive landscapes. Quality designs, presented
in the form of realistic photo-visualisations, can help gain the approvals
needed quickly and with minimal amendments.
TIMBER MARKETING
Competitive timber marketing is essential to achieving the best returns
for woodland owners in an increasingly difficult market. Cawdor Forestry
maintains constant contact with timber markets and sells over 30,000
tonnes of timber a year
HARVESTING
We provide full supervision of all forestry operations to ensure high
standards are maintained, managing health and safety and matching appropriate
contractors and machinery to the site.
